So, this is ME

My name is Cary, lover of travel, fun, new socks, bed-side lamps, violent thunderstorms and penguin-shaped waffles. Hater of mosquitoes (the savage, stealthy little bastards), chopping onions, crunchy eating noises and the window seat.

  1. I was born in Scotland
  2. I excelled on the monkey bars at playschool
  3. I was the marble QUEEN at junior school (I had thousands of marbles)
  4. I spell ya with a y and not a j
  5. I'm useless with directions (seriously, seriously useless)
  6. I've been to 26 countries
  7. I studied German at University (God knows why)
  8. I had a horse 
  9. I love fairy lights and candles 
  10. I can crochet a scarf
  11. I put crickets in someone's bed once (they kind of deserved it)
  12. I LOVE breakfast (bacon, eggs, pancakes, croissants... delish)
  13. I have a birthmark the shape of a heart on my ankle (who needs a tattoo)
  14. Extreme Home Makeover makes me cry (every time)
  15. I'm extremely indecisive
  16. I love my name (thanks mum and dad)
  17. I have 6 different lip balms in my handbag (problem? nah)
  18. I lurrrv dress-up parties
  19. I'm petrified of going to the hairdresser
  20. I watch Days of Our Lives (and the Bold and the Beautiful... don't judge)
  21. I don't own anything orange (it's such a violently offensive colour)
  22. I love airports and aeroplanes
  23. I'm really pedantic about spelling and grammar (like when people write "your" when really they mean "you're", as in "you are"... or when they write "to much fun" when they mean "too much fun"... gaaah)
  24. I'm quite shy
  25. I hate bovril (and marmite... urgh)
  26. I have a tiny, pink laptop
  27. I'm calling my first daughter Emma (or Georgia, or Olivia, or Hope)
  28. Did I mention that I'm indecisive?
  29. I can make sushi
  30. I can EAT voluminous amounts of sushi (whether I'm hungry or not)
  31. I secretly love it when the electricity goes out
  32. I can blow the most incredible smoke rings
  33. I love smoking hubbly (Al Fakher Pan Rasna is the bomb, hubbly banter)
  34. I can blow enormous bubbles, filled with smoke, through a toilet roll
  35. I can't wait to have children
  36. I hate the black jelly beans

  38. I/m an awkward hugger
  39. I outran my headmaster at high school,and escaped (despite a few minor setbacks along the corridor)
  40. I've slept the night in an airport
  41. I'm actually a bit scared of dolphins and not quite sure why people always want to swim with them
  42. I'm a terrible waitress
  43. I LOVE the Twilight series (team Edward, he sparkles)
  44. I won a scooter
  45. I play the flute

  48. I drive a Land Rover
  49. I hate clashing colours
  50. I spell colour with a "u" (even though spell check keeps telling me not to)
