So, I originally only booked the hostel in Budapest for three nights, I've just checked in and booked for another two STRAIGHT away. I don't think I ever want to leave this city or this hostel, it has the best vibe ever. It only has 36 beds and, wait for it, NO bunk beds, woooooo. I arrived pretty tired thinking, phew, at least it's Sunday, bit of an excuse to take it easy and have an early night.... oh no.
We're meeting up with three other hostels for the JAGER TRAIN, just signed up for 5, that's the minimum you're allowed, oh god. Some girls have signed up for 15 and of course Chuck Norris seems to have signed up for 450. The staff here are all pretty awesome, and, like The Mad House in Prague the staff uniform seems to be a onesie, I LIKE it. The staff are busy cooking a "family dinner" for us all which I'm way excited about.
There is SO much to do in Budapest I might stay the whole week. Thermal baths, the Danube, mountains, caves, castles, museums, markets, GOULASH.
Between you and I, umm, I don't know if I want to start at the chalet on the 1st December... is that bad? Yeah it is. I just want to keep travelling. I still need to see more Eastern European countries and I met 2 Aussie girls that just came from Nepal and Tibet and said it was out of this world, I need to go to Vietnam and Cambodia and Thailand and I need to overland through Africa. Oh boy. I've not just been bitten by the travel bug, I've been completely devoured by it. Would it be bad not to do the ski season, would it? Would it be even worse to just do half the ski season? Oooh boy.
