The HILLS are aliiiiive

I'm sitting on the high speed Westbahn train from Vienna to Salzburg after a rather excruciating overnight bus from Poland. It just felt like a horrible dream, maybe I'll just pretend that it was and forget all about it. Smelly people, snoring men, crappy seats, people making crunchy noises (my WORST), WAY overheated, like SO overheated I practically stripped down to my underwear. Bleh. I guess that's what you get for buying THE cheapest ticket. Enough complaining, I'm lucky I didn't have to WALK, when mmmmmy dad was young he would have had to WALK, with NO shoes. THROUGH the snow, minus 500 degrees celcius (not really). I'm on the most awesome train now, with free wi-fi and a coffee shop and comfy seats, aaah bliss. I'm pretty sad to have left Eastern Europe, I was on the verge of of scrapping the job and carrying on (how terrible), but that would be very bad form, and it'll be nice to replenish the funds, and learn how to ski. The (semi) real world awaits.

On a happier note, you DO all know what happened in Salzburg right? Right?

Yeah
The Sound of Music
THAT'S what happened.

I've only been singing along to this musical since I was FOUR. I know all the words off by heart and every single scene. The first thing I'm doing, once I've found my hostel, is getting myself onto the Sound of Music tour, yeah, judge all you want, haters, but I am way excited, perhaps a bit abnormally so, I must control myself. My only regret is that NooNoo le Roux (some know her as Nicky) is not here to join me. That would be SOME kind of epic. We would sing so happily together, we'd put Maria and the Von Trapp family to SHAME with our musical genius.

"Cazza and NooNoo do Sound of Music"
I like the sound of that.
(sorry for those who don't know about the show)

"High on HILL lived a lonely goat, oda-leh, oda-leh, odah-leh, eh-ooh"... I can hardly contain myself.
