Safely in Palawan

So I met these two really sweet Filipino brothers on the plane, we chatted the whole way, they wrote down all the places I should go and they LOVED my name, apparently there's a song called Cary, it goes something like this: "Ca-aaaaah-ra-heeee, Ca-aaah-ra-heeeeee", they both sung it to me, in perfect harmony (again...and again). They said they knew a place I could stay, that their family was picking them up and I could get a lift with them, mmmkay, why not. So anyways, I'm at Lucky's Inn, sipping on a green tea shake, it wasn't too expensive, and my room has not one, not two, but THREE beds in it (why have one, when you can have THREE... ALL to yourself). You only pay according to your relationship status... single? 600 pesos. Couple? 1500 pesos. Baha. Take THAT... couples. I have to wake up early to get a 4 hour jeepney to Port Barton where there is (hopefully) going to be a man in a small boat waiting to take me to the beach I'm staying at (wishful thinking?)

Something not cool: someone stole my ipod
Something that made it better: I bought an MP3 player for 400 pesos
Something that made my DAY: the guy at the shop put some music on there for me
Something EVEN better: the first song: Westlife, the second: Avril Lavigne, the third: GANGNAM STYLE (oh yeeeah).

Serious line-up that. I'M excited.
