Our new Italian deckhand is awesome, I had my doubts in the beginning, he was a bit quiet, but now, he's hilarious. I just asked him what the time was, he just carries on walking and says:
"slave shut up", in his thick Italian accent, completely out of the blue. I like that, bit of spontaneity, there I was thinking I was gonna get a "2.30pm" and I got a "SLAVE SHUT UP", that's awesome.
He's REALLY helpful, he helps me hang up the laundry, he goes and fetches groceries for me when I'm too busy, and now, he's making pizza dough, yeah, that's right, we have a pizza guru onboard, he worked in a pizza shop in Italy for a year. I like him, I may even LOVE him.
Ummm yes, at the end of the season, I'm gonna learn how to sail, I want to learn how to sail so I can sail around the world one day, just letting you know
