there's really good stuff down that way, great fish markets and the like, so I'm happy about THAT, cos I'm a chef, dontcha know
We have about a 10 hour trip ahead of us, the owner just decided on a whim he felt like being in Italy, so, we brought up the anchor and off we went. I'm a girl, so I don't have to stay up all night looking through binoculars, pretending to be very busy and important, I'm gonna do girl stuff, like, sew something, or bake a cake, orrrr wathcing a girl movie, or brush my hair
I don't have anything hugely important to say, so, I'll tell you what I cooked today
For lunch, I did a spicy tomato and red lentil soup with some homemade foccacia bread and a salad
aaaand for dinner I cooked a delicious sea bream with cherry tomatoes, olives and capers aaaand grilled vegetables, and a cherry crumble for dessert.
healthy, seasonal, regional, delicious ... ten out of ten

If you want I can tell you how to make the world's most delicious, quick pasta, right...
garlic, dried chilli flakes, olive oil, in the pan
throw in some fresh prawns (peeled), don't overcook
puree some sundried tomatoes and olive oil, put that in
put some spaghetti (wholewheat) in a pot
grate some lemon zest, squeeze the juice into pasta
take the pan off the stove, chuck in the lemon zest and 2 handfulls of chopped rocket, mix it all together with the pasta
and that's it... done
