Wedding Shmeddings

Why does EVERY girl I know have a "wedding" board on Pinterest? Seriously. If you're getting married, fine, if you're helping to plan a wedding, that's fine too. But if you're not doing either of those things, then NO, stop it at once. And also, in what planet is posting pictures of the engagement ring you want not just a little too suggestive (?) and seriously, if your boyfriend comes across that little gem on Pinterest, and he's like any boy I've ever dated, then baha, baaaaaaaahahaha. Now, I know I'm somewhat inclined to a fairly RADICAL way of thinking, but, isn't it meant to be a surprise? It's a gift, from him, no? You can't just go around CHOOSING your gifts. And also, now i know what you're going to think (rhymes with ssshmippe and "are you KIDDING me") but, I'd like to think i'd love that person so much that they could tie a piece of string around my finger and that would be enough. In fact, that would be perfect, how romantic. Why would you want him to spend money on a diamond, when you could spend it on a six month honeymoon traveling around the world, just saying.
