So, for tonight's dinner, the guests asked me to make Thai style chicken burgers, with no burger bun, mmmmkay. So, I had everything ready, got all the ingredients and everything. Deckhand opens the fridge.... 

"Urrrgh, minced rabbit, what are you making with THAT?" 

"Minced what?"

"Rabbit. What's it for?"

"Oh, just the CHICKEN burgers I'm about to start making"

Efffff! It's so hard not being able to speak Italian. In all fairness, I found it in the chicken section, and it looks like chicken too.

So, back out into the pouring rain aaaand everything is closed, it's a Sunday afternoon. I dropped my trainers into the water as I was coming off the boat, so they were soaking too. Oh but I DID find one tiny little supermarket open, just about 10 kilometeres away!! They didn't have minced chicken, but they did have these weird chicken/turkey/other mysterious ingredients sausages. So, eyegoddem. I squeezed the mystery stuff out of the sausage casings: it was ALL kinds if disgusting, and added enough fresh chili that they wouldn't be able to tell if it was beef they were eating, I'm sure they noticed, they tasted NOTHING like they did the first time I made them.

The weather has kicked up summin chronic, we're off early tomorrow and ohmygoshiwantsomechocolate, did I say chocolate? Haha, I meant DUST, silly old autocorrect. Night everyone bye
