Crazy storms and bonus kayaks

Last NIGHT... you guys, was EPIC. Out of nowhere the most mammoth of storms came in. It was boiling hot so I was sleeping with both portholes wide open and woke up absolutely drenched, rain was pelting in sideways, loud cracks of thunder, purple sky, massive bolts of lightening all around us, it was CRAZY yo. The wind was so strong it ripped our shade cloth off from the aft deck and bent the pole right in half, the tender crashed into the hull, Franco slipped on deck and nearly went overboard (mwaaahaha), our anchor started dragging, the boat next to us was dragging too and was heading towards us, it was all quite dramatic, I LOVED it, the first real storm I've ever seen in Europe. It eventually settled down around 3am, we woke up at 5am to head off to our next destination and WHAT did old hawk eye over here spot out in the distance? A brand spanking new tandem kayak, oh yes. Technically, I think that means it belongs to me, the captain doesn't seem to think so. We pulled it out the water, MINT condition, the line had just snapped because of the storm and it floated out to sea; "oh the boss is going to be so happy with this". Um, sorry WHAT?! No no, oh captain my captain, I spotted it, so it's MINE (finders keepers) and I'm selling it on eBay this very minute. We're going to have to have a serious chat about this, it could get awkward.
