So, I just got back from my last sunset walk in Bonifacio and it was beeeee-yoootiful. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to say this (this is gonna be cheesy, be warned) but it really looked like the sun was melting into the sea (yeah I just said that, shuddup, but really REALLY, it DID). It was absolutely enormous and red and as it was disappearing off the horizon it was leaving the prettiest colours all over the water and there were sailing boats making the prettiest silhouettes. Very nice. I'm so grateful that we got to be here for an entire week, and I'm grateful for the sun and for whoever makes the colours in the sky, and for the sea and the flowers and all the colours everywhere and for my blonde hair and for pain au chocolat amen. We're leaving for Spain early tomorrow morning, expected to arrive there on the evening of the 4th, possibly the 5th, depending on the conditions. This'll be the longest crossing I've ever done (ooooohweee). So, good night France, good night world, see you tomorrow.
