The Journey Begins... Cap d'Agde to Bonifacio

After FIVE long hours on the train I arrived in Cap d'Agde, near Montpellier in France to be greeted by Pierre, the 25 year old French captain from Swallows and Amazons, the 76 foot sailing yacht I'd be on for the next 2 weeks. We soon learnt that it was his first time being a captain, that it was MY first time being a "chef", my first time on a sailing yacht, my first time doing a charter and that it was the deckhand's first charter too... oh boy!

There's no way I could even begin to describe the 36 hour sail from Agde to Bonifacio so here are some pics, they tell a thousand words...
