So I woke up and I was like, meh, it's Christmas, so what? Yay, I thought I would be really sad but I'm not too bad, I'm just pretending I'm Jewish, I'm celebrating Hannukah. I just have to not think about it and not look at facebook and I'm fine. I'm going to South East Asia ... for a month, possibly longer, what's there NOT to be happy about?
Seeing that it's Christmas, I'm totally spoiling myself when I get to Heathrow International and then AGAIN when I'm in Guangzhou (for 18 HOURS), I'm thinking lonely planet guides to get me even more excited, a pretty journal, a new pen, an iphone and a camera, aaaand some toblerone. Okay maybe not the iphone AND the camera, probably neither. Maybe just the iphone. Oh, and there are a few essentials, like sunscreen and sandals, can't be wearing my winter boots on the beach, because right now that's all I have. I literally have about 6 items of clothing in my backpack, it's the lightest it's EVER been, Oh boy, it's gonna be like in those passport control reality shows, when the girls ends up getting body searched for drugs and asked about why she only has 6 items of clothing when she's going there for an entire month. Oh boy.
