So, dock walking is quite possibly the most soul destroying thing I've ever done, you have to walk up and down the docks all day, approaching million pound boats in your little yachtie outfit, your CVs in hand and say "good morning, are you looking for any crew?" in your sweetest voice possible and most of the time all you get back is "FULLY CREWED!!", if you're lucky, others just turn around and walk inside when they see you approaching. I've managed to hand out about 25 CVs, which doesn't sound like a lot but is quite an achievement in this place AND... good news is, I could possibly have an interview with a captain on Monday in Italy, holding thumbs.
Went dock walking in Monaco which was absolutely incredible, I completely forgot I was there looking for a job.
