Zanzibar
We're up in Nungwi after spending some time in Stone Town; spice tours, spiced coffee, spiced rice, shisha and shopping, basically, oh and coconut Kingfish with chipati, life altering I tell you. It seemed to me a lot like a bigger, more developed Lamu, without the donkeys. Lots of beautiful things to take pictures of. Of course, we didn't spend nearly long enough there but I guess that just means I have a good excuse to come back. Nungwi is absolutely beautiful too, but in a different kind of way; white sand, crystal clear water... it's pretty damn nice. We're going snorkeling (for the whole day) and I am well WELL excited. It's nice not to have to put up a tent and I'm lapping up the luxury, after tomorrow it's back to camping and sleeping on he ground for another three weeks...
